Windows of Opportunity

The Stroud & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce are gearing up to run a pilot to help businesses who are looking to become the next high street champions, but do not currently have a physical presence in the town.

Working with partners, initially in Stroud Town Centre, we plan to offer a small display space for a short period of time that enables you to display your product or information about your service.

Applicants

Do you dream of having a premises in the town for customers to visit? Are you a recently established business that wants to get their name and product/service better known, to give you a small boost towards your goal? If so, our Windows of Opportunity could be just the initiative to push you towards your next growth step.

Windows of Opportunity could enable you to have a small presence in a physical site within the town, that passers by can discover and learn about you. There will be eligibility criteria, of course, and we are working on that now.
If eligible, you may be able to choose between 1 to 4 cells within a display, each cell is 33cm (w), 33cm (h), 38cm (d) and your display must not exceed those dimensions. You can include an A5 size poster that can contain details of your website and (if you choose) a QR Code for viewers to understand how to access details of your business and purchase from you (purchasing from the display location is not permitted).
If successful, we will promote your business, during the display period, through our InStroud Facebook page. We require you to use your social media channels to promote visiting your display too.

Host Locations in Stroud Town Centre

We are currently recruiting locations to add to our existing two pilot sites. If you have space within a window display within Stroud and would like to offer up a small section to be used to showcase a new business looking to expand, please email windows@stroudchamber.org.uk to express your interest.
